10th Series – Water Quad

13 Dogs Started the 10th series. 

We kicked off the10th series this morning with the parade of contestants! After we were all in place, the running of the test dogs started at 9:55 am. The first test dog to run was "Zeiss" with handler Jane Patopea and then next up was "Brandy" with handler Missy Bell, giving the teams a preview of the challenges they would be facing in this large Water Quad.

The first running dog on for the 10th Series was #34 FC SEASIDE’S GOT THAT ITCH AGAIN, “Ivy,” with handler Craig Crook at 10:33 am.

The weather today started in the upper 40's and got up into the mid 50's with mostly cloudy with overcast skies, and a little bit of fog to start out and then some drizzle and light rain throughout.

Here is how things turned out for the 10th Series…

Our last running dog for this series was dog #
50. FC-AFC HEARTBEAT’S GEORGIA PEANUT, “Peanut,” with handler Andrew Curtis on a rerunThey finished the test and the series was completed at 1:46 pm.


There were 13 dogs sent from the line in this series, taking exactly 3 hours and 13 minutes, which averages out to be just under 15 minutes per dog. 

The 10th Series is now complete, and officially in the books!
The running of the 2023 National Retriever Championship is also now complete.

The Finalists and the Winner will be announced shortly ....
